Payment and Invoicing Update for 2025
Hello!
With the new year upon us, I wanted to update you on a change in my billing. I had been using Quickbooks for almost my entire business life. Unfortunately, their customer service has become increasingly worse; and I no longer wish to use them. As such, I am transitioning to a new invoicing system with my bank, Truist. They offer merchant services through Swipe Simple.
I have never made a change like this before, and I do not know if it will work for me or you. I am giving this new system a trial run, starting January 1st. After this date, you should get a new invoice from Swipe Simple. However, because the system is new, I may need to default to Quickbooks if I have a problem.
I am asking for your patience as we go through this transition. Please let me know if you have any questions. Also, any feedback you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I would like to know if you are comfortable with the new system.
Because this new system is a merchant service, you will be given the option to use a credit card. Many of you already pay via check or ACH and that’s great. It does save me money; so, you can continue to make payments this way. I also use Venmo if you prefer this payment method. My Venmo handle is @Angela-Altrichter.
